Surgical Gastroenterology is a major thrust area of the Institute for Digestive & Liver Diseases. It is recognised by the National Board of Medical Examinations for conducting two postgraduate courses- a two-year fellowship in advanced Minimal Access Surgery and a three year super specialization degree course in Surgical Gastroenterology.
