Dear Reader,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to yet another edition of our monthly newsletter. In healthcare management, in order to handle a condition successfully with a suitable treatment program and achieve favourable results, accurate and timely diagnosis is of paramount importance. There have been numerous cases where prolonged misdiagnosed illnesses have been the cause of unnecessary problems to patients, which could have been avoided with proper diagnosis. At BLK, we strive to offer precise diagnosis with the most advanced diagnostic technologies available, facilitating correct treatment interventions.

For our cover story, we have picked two separate patients with a similar case of misdiagnosed shoulder pains. Both the patients were suffering from a case of rotator cuff tear, however, were earlier misdiagnosed as frozen shoulder. Eventually, both the patients were correctly diagnosed by the experts at BLK and appropriate treatment plans were advised. The story of how an extensive investigation by experts at our group hospital in Mumbai helped a 43-year-old epileptic patient is also featured in this edition. Another piece featured here talks about how the Dorsal Access to Radial Artery is providing excellent procedural success and safety. It also talks about the numerous advantages of the snuffbox approach over conventional radial access. A similar feature discusses about Plateletpheresis and the

technological advantages it offers. The story also mentions a section on how this technology made a life-transforming difference for a 40-year-old Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia patient.

Going through this month's newsletter, you will find more stories on how technology plays a critical role in the medical industry and transforming the lives of patients. Another story on such technological advancement talks about the Hysteroscopic approach, a novel technique which gives new hope to women with Septate Uterus. There is also a section on Arthroscopyassisted technique and the indispensable role it played in restoring back the normal function of a patient's hand after a fracture.

I, on behalf of the entire editorial team, would like to thank all the contributors of this newsletter. Your stories and articles are very valuable and indispensable for the successful output of this newsletter, and we hope you will continue to support us.
